Clean & Pure Water for Brewing and More

Tap water often contains not only unwanted minerals but also potentially harmful substances. Conventional water filtration methods (other jugs, central filtrations) are inconsistent—they don’t remove everything, and typically only reduce mineral content partially. That means two households using the same conventional product in different towns can still end up with very different-tasting water.

ZeroWater works differently. Its ion-exchange filter removes virtually all total dissolved solids (TDS), so whatever comes out of your tap, the water reads 0 TDS on the included meter. That’s deionized water: the same blank canvas you’d get from distilled or demineralized water.

How long will it last?

moderately hard water (006-050 TDS): 150l<
typically hard water (051-200 TDS): 100-150l
hard water (200-300 TDS): 50-100l
exceptionally hard water (300-400 TDS): 30-50l

How To Use It

Clean your sink and counter properly, wash your hands thoroughly, then unbox the jug there, so no food residue or microbes get into the jug or onto the filter.
Wash the jug, lid and reservoir with warm water. A drop of mild dish soap is fine if you rinse it off completely. None of the parts are dishwasher-safe.
Unwrap the filter, remove the protective cap or film if it has one, and rinse the outside under lukewarm running water.
Screw the filter firmly into the reservoir, hand-tight, so the sealing ring closes watertight. A loose filter lets tap water sneak past it, and the reading won’t reach 0.
Slowly fill the reservoir with cold tap water, let it filter through completely, then pour the water away.
Repeat once more. The first two fills wash out manufacturing residue and any tap water left over from rinsing, so don’t judge the filter by them.
Fill it a third time and test the filtered water with the included TDS meter. It should read 000. If it doesn’t, check that the filter is screwed in tightly, empty the jug and flush it again.
Your jug is ready. Enjoy your 0 TDS water!

Can I drink it on its own?

There are times when demineralized water is the right choice—like when you’re brewing coffee or tea, ironing, or using it for other technical applications. But for daily hydration, demineralized water isn’t ideal. Your body needs minerals to stay healthy, so we don’t recommend drinking purified water on its own.

How is ZeroWater different from regular water filters?

Most standard filters reduce only some impurities. ZeroWater removes virtually all dissolved solids—including limescale, lead, chlorine, and even PFAS—that regular jugs can’t.

How do I know when to replace the filter?

Your ZeroWater Filter Jug comes with a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter so you can easily monitor the filter’s performance. Replace the filter when TDS value is not Zero anymore.

Which model should I choose: Classic or Round?

The Classic model requires waiting for filtration to finish before pouring. The Round model includes Ready Pour technology so you can pour while filtering.
